Abstract:
A method for reconstructed luma information-based chroma component prediction is disclosed. In the present embodiment, to perform intra prediction for a current chroma block, an image decoding device decodes a prediction mode indicator of the current chroma block, and the prediction mode indicator identifies whether a direct mode_intra block copy (DM_IBC) mode is used for the current chroma block. When the current chroma block uses the DM_IBC mode, the image decoding device generates a prediction block of the current chroma block by using a block vector of a pre-reconstructed corresponding luma block.
