Abstract:
The method for sealing a junction having a contact surface and a counter-contact surface (56) of an element in a compartment of a gas-insulated substation comprises the injection of a sealant into a volume (66) within the joint formed between the contact surface and the counter-contact surface by using a leakage recovery duct (68) opening into the inter-joint volume (66). Prior to injection, the method comprises drilling a vent duct (76), which differs from the leakage recovery duct (68), from the outside of the compartment to the inter-joint volume (66). During injection, the sealant is injected under pressure into the inter-joint volume (66) until it fills the latter and then exits via the vent duct (76).
