Abstract:
The invention relates to biology, in particular to molecular biology and genetic engineering and can be used for medical and biological researches and the bio-technological production of recombinant proteins by the secretion thereof with the aid of bacteria cells. The aim of said invention is to develop a novel method for secreting proteins by bacteria cells, including cyanobacteria, directly into a culture medium, thereby simplifying the consecutive cleaning of a target product and improving the quality thereof. The inventive method consists in using new chemical compositions i.e. leader sequences and vectors based thereon and containing said leader sequences, accompanied by a subsequent genetic transformation and cultivation of bacteria-producers, including transformed photoautotrophic bacteria. The inventive secretory leader sequences ensure an efficient secretion of the target protein into the culture medium levels ranging from 50 to 75 % of the total target protein synthesised in the cells.
