Abstract:
A method for separating edible oils and fats, comprising directly feeding a solid-liquid mixture containing edible oils and fats into a three-phase centrifuge to perform separation, and collecting an oil phase to obtain edible oils and fats, wherein the separation factor of the three-phase centrifuge is ≥8,000 and the rotation speed is ≤10,000 rpm. Further disclosed is an apparatus for separating edible oils and fats, which is a disc stack centrifuge, comprising a rotary drum provided therein with a disc group consisting of a number of discs arranged at intervals along the rotation axis of the rotary drum. By using a high-performance centrifuge with a high separation factor for centrifugation, edible oils and fats are effectively extracted and the yield is increased without the need to use chemical reagents such as demulsifiers and flocculants.
