Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for surface modification of an adsorbent having a macroporous pore structure for reducing the amount of TVOCs generated from synthetic rubber, and the technical gist thereof comprises: a step of synthesizing an organic precursor; a step of forming a macroporous solution by mixing the organic precursor and an inorganic support; a step of filtering and washing the macroporous solution; a step of drying and calcining the filtered and washed macroporous solution to obtain a macroporous pore structure; and a surface modification step of mixing the macroporous pore structure with a transition-metal solution to form a macroporous adsorbent surface-modified with a transition metal. Accordingly, in order to reduce the amount of TVOCs generated by synthetic rubber, an adsorbent having a macroporous pore structure is synthesized and the surface thereof is modified, and is then added in the form of an additive to a synthetic rubber mixture, thereby reducing TVOCs and odors generated from molded synthetic rubber.
