Abstract:
A method and system for implementing the flexible alerting service are provided. The method comprises a start mobile switching center sends a location request to a home location register corresponding to the pilot number according to the pilot number in the calling request; the home location register returns back a location request response which includes each member number information in the flexible alerting service group corresponding to the pilot number after the home location register receiving the location request; wherein, the number information of the prepaid user member is its member number, the number information of the non-prepaid user member is its temporary local directory number; the start mobile switching center establishes a call between the calling user and each member in the flexible alerting service group according to the returned number information in the location request response. By the solution of the present invention, the realization of the flexible alerting service is solved when a FA group includes one or multiple prepaid members, so that the flexible alerting service is perfected much more.
