Abstract:
A method for transforming an orchidaceous plant which comprises infecting a tissue derived from the orchidaceous plant with an agrobacterium containing a gene to be induced into the plant. Thus, the transformation of an orchidaceous plant with an agrobacterium is made possible for the first time.
