Abstract:
The invention is directed to methods and compositions for controlling a pest population, more specifically a fungal pathogen. The compositions comprise a compound at a concentration having fungicidal activity and having Formula (I) or Formula (II), where R<1> is an unsaturated 5-6 membered ring having 1-2 heteroatoms substituted with an R<2> group selected from the group consisting of H, CH3, CN, Cl, Br, F and I; R<3> is selected from the group constiting of H and CH3; R<4>, R<5> and R<6> are independently selected from the group consisting of H, CH3, CN, Cl, Br, F and I; and R<7> is selected from the group consisting of C1-6alkyl, C2-6alkenyl, C2-6alkynyl, and a straight or branched chain having 4-6 carbon atoms, a double and a triple bond.
