A microspeaker and a method for assembling the same. The microspeaker comprises a housing (1), a magnetic circuit assembly, and a vibration assembly. The housing (1) comprises an annular side wall (11) and a bottom wall (12) extending inwards from the side wall (11). The top end of the side wall (11) is provided with a fixing surface (111) for fixing to the edge of a vibrating diaphragm, and the top end of the side wall (11) is provided with a notch for positioning an end portion of a lead (21). A conductive terminal (3) is provided in the housing (1), and the upper surface of a bonding pad (31) at one end of the conductive terminal (3) is exposed from the upper surface of the bottom wall (12). The housing (1) between the upper surface of the bonding pad (31) and the fixing surface (111) is further provided with a boss (4) for positioning the end portion of the lead (21) and for cutting the lead. The invention improves the structure of the speaker housing (1), such that the voice coil lead (21) can be accurately routed along a track, and the shallow design of a track groove (1111) facilitates sealant filling after the end of the lead (21) is cut off. Thus, the invention resolves issues affecting the waterproof performance of the speakers when a deep U-shaped notch provided on the side wall (11) of conventional microspeaker housings is not sealed tightly.
