Abstract:

One embodiment of the present invention pertains to a mobile communications system that includes a control device (100) arranged in a wireless access network (20) and a policy supply system (200) arranged in a core network (10). The policy supply system (200) is configured so as to supply to the control device (100) a first control policy used when controlling transition of a mobile terminal (300) status between a CONNECTED status and an IDLE status. In addition, the control device (100) is configured so as to control transition between the CONNECTED status and the IDLE status of the mobile terminal (300), on the basis of the first control policy. As a result, signaling that should be processed by the core network and is caused by repeated status transition (CONNECTED-IDLE transition) by the mobile terminal can be reduced on the basis of the determination by the core network.
