MOBILE CUPOLA-SHAPED STRUCTURE AND METHOD OF ERECTING IT

A mobile cupola-shaped structure comprises a frame and a coating consisting of a canvas (1) secured to the internal side of the frame. The frame consists of carrying elements shaped as semiarcs interconnected in a central hinged unit (10). The semiarcs consist of supporting (3) and carrying (4) rods interconnected by means of hinged units (5) to which are connected pillars (7) the top of which is connected by ties (6) to the ends of the supporting (3) and carrying (4) rods. On the supporting rods (3) are mounted winches for stretching the canvas (1) and winches for installation of the frame, the rope being connected to the last tie (6). The supporting rods (3) are secured by means of supporting hinges (9) to supports (8) mounted on the erection site and secured to the latter by means of anchors. The erection of the mobile structure is effected by means of the winches for installation of the frame which are located on the carrying elements and incorporated into the construction elements of the structure.
