Abstract:
This mobile terminal is carried by a user of a vehicle (1) and is capable of moving the vehicle via remote operation through transmitting an operation signal to the vehicle according to an operation of the user. The mobile terminal is provided with: an image acquisition unit (102) which is connected to an image capturing unit (101) which captures an image of the vehicle, and acquires a captured image from the image capturing unit; a distance information acquisition unit (107) which acquires distance information on the distance to the vehicle on the basis of the captured image; a determination unit (109) which determines, on the basis of the distance information, whether the distance to the vehicle is within a prescribed allowable distance; and an operation signal transmission unit (110) which transmits an operation signal toward the vehicle, when the distance to the vehicle is determined to be within the allowable distance.
