Abstract:
A monitoring system provided with: a monitoring agent that retains information on a communication state of a low-power terminal carrying out communication on low power; and a monitoring device that monitors a state of the low-power terminal. The monitoring device is provided with a request unit that requests information on the communication state of the low-power terminal. The monitoring agent is provided with: a response generation unit that generates, on the basis of the information on the communication state of the low-power terminal, a response in accordance with a request from the monitoring device; and a transmission unit that transmits the response to the monitoring device.
