Abstract:
In this inverter control method, a detection signal corresponding to the current value of current flowing on the DC side of an inverter that drives a motor is acquired on the basis of a PWM signal. By acquiring said detection signal on the basis of the PWM signal, the phase current of each phase flowing through the motor is detected, and the duty ratio of each phase of the PWM signal is set on the basis of the detected value of the phase current of each phase. The PWM signal is generated by comparing the set value of the duty ratio of each phase with the level of the carrier, and on the basis of the set value of the duty ratio of each phase, the first energization time within the first half cycle period of the carrier and the second energization time within the second half cycle period of the carrier are calculated. On the basis of the calculated values of the first and second energization times, the first and second energization times are adjusted to the energization width in which the current detection unit can detect the phase current of two of the phases.
