Abstract:
Provided is a moving device such that a moving means moves a movable object upon detection of motion of a sensing object. A shutter (4) of a cup holder (3) is mounted slidably in a front-rear direction of a vehicle. A moving unit (5) moves the shutter (4). On a surface of the shutter (4), a detection sensor (6) is disposed. When a person moves his or her finger on the surface of the shutter (4), the person's finger is detected by the detection sensor (6) at a plurality of positions. Then, a CPU (7) detects the motion of the person's finger and controls the moving unit (5) so as to cause the shutter (4) to be slid to the rear if the direction of the motion of the person's finger is to the rear, or to cause the shutter (4) to be slid to the front if the direction of the motion of the person's finger is to the front.
