Abstract:
A multi-purpose fiber optic connector, comprising: a body, having a first end, a second end, and an inner cavity formed to penetrate through the first end and the second end, the inner cavity being configured to allow a fiber optic cable to pass through; an inner joint assembly, connected to the first end of the body; an adapter sleeve, sleeved on the body, the adapter sleeve being capable of sliding along the body towards the first end and the second end and being rotatable around a central axis of the body, and the adapter sleeve being provided with a connecting thread; and a connection head, detachably connected to the connecting thread, the connection head being of different types to adapted to different female connecting ends; wherein the connection head is provided with a cavity, and when the connection head is connected to the adapter sleeve, the inner joint assembly is at least partially located in the cavity of the connection head. Therefore, a quick replacement of the connection head can be realized through the adapter sleeve, and the inner joint assembly can be connected to the corresponding female connecting end, thereby improving the convenience of adapting the fiber optic connector to different female connecting ends.
