Abstract:
An image sensor suitable for detecting X-rays has an absorption layer, an electronics layer, and a printed circuit board. An active area of the absorption layer is configured to generate an electrical signal when the absorption layer absorbs an incident X-ray photon. The printed circuit board and the active area do not overlap in an interlayer direction.
