Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multimedia playback device including a signal processing unit for signal-processing a sound source and outputting same. The signal processing unit includes a sound pressure detecting unit for detecting a sound pressure level of the inputted sound source; a hearing protection determining unit for controlling the intensity of the sound source to be lower than a predetermined hearing loss sound pressure level when the level of the sound source detected by the sound pressure detecting unit exceeds the predetermined hearing loss sound pressure level; and a sound source filtering unit for lowering the intensity of the exceeding sound source to be lower than the predetermined hearing loss sound pressure level according to controlling by the hearing protection determining unit.
