Abstract:

Novel N-oxyl compounds represented by general formula (1) (wherein n is an integer of 1 to 18; R?1¿ and R?2¿ are each hydrogen or methyl, provided at least either is hydrogen; R?3¿, R?4¿, R?5¿ and R?6¿ are each a linear or branched alkyl; and R?7¿ is hydrogen or (meth)acryloyl). These compounds exhibit even at high temperature satisfactory polymerization-inhibiting effects against vinyl monomers such as $g(a), $g(b)-unsaturated carboxylic acids and esters thereof, when added thereto even in a small amount.
