Abstract:
The present invention relates to a navigation updating device and a method therefor, which set a save point on the basis of information about a searched route to a destination and then store update data in a temporary storage unit, and, if the save point is reached, store the update data, which is stored in the temporary storage unit, in an internal storage unit, and, if storing of the update data is complete, store the update data, which is stored in the internal storage unit, in a map data storage unit to carry out an update.
