Abstract:
Disclosed in the present application are a network access method and apparatus, and an electronic device. The present application comprises when configuring an APN database, increasing a self-detection function, merging different types of APNs having the same name, and after a client inserts an SIM card, only filtering out a default APN, wherein a default APN access type comprises default and dun/mms/ims. Subsequently, when registering an ims network, establishing an operator shared network, and transmitting/receiving a multimedia messaging service, a PDN connection request is not initiated again, but the default APN may be used to successfully access a network corresponding to the default APN, thereby achieving the purpose that different types of APNs having the same name may be used for multiple kinds of network connections.
