Abstract:
The embodiments of the present application provide a network planning method and device, said method comprising: a base station sending a first reference signal to a user equipment (UE), and receiving a first level value returned by said UE according to said first reference signal; the base station receiving a second reference signal sent by the UE, and determining a second level value corresponding to said second reference signal; according to the first level value and the second level value, determining a difference between each remote radio unit (RRU) in a single-frequency network (SFN) cell; according to said difference, determining the difference between the levels of each RRU of said SFN cell; re-dividing the SFN cell according to the level difference; after the downlink signal level of the UE received by each RRU has been obtained, it is unnecessary to obtain the actual transmission power and power headroom information of the UE, and it is unnecessary to calculate space loss in order to obtain the level difference between the RRUs in the SFN, thus a reference is provided for re-division of the SFN cell.
