Abstract:
Disclosed in the present invention are a new fluorescent powder capable of promoting plant growth under sunlight, and the preparation and use thereof. The fluorescent powder has the chemical formula of Sr4Al14O25: xMn4+, yMg2+, zLn3+, wherein 0.005 ≤ x ≤ 0.04, 0 < y ≤ 0.2, and 0 < z ≤ 0.7. A strontium compound, an aluminum compound, a manganese compound and a magnesium compound are weighed according to the stoichiometric ratio of each chemical component in the chemical formula; one of a gallium compound, a scandium compound, a chromium compound and a lutetium compound is then weighed; same are ground and mixed, and a fluxing agent is added thereto and then mixed until uniform; and the mixture is placed in a tube furnace in an atmosphere with air introduced therein and is calcinated, naturally cooled to room temperature, and then ground to prepare a new fluorescent powder capable of promoting plant growth under sunlight. The fluorescent powder is low cost and has high brightness, can emit red light that facilitates plant growth, improves the utilization rate of sunlight, promotes plant growth, and is low cost, has high efficiency and is green and pollution-free.
