Description:
A NEW PET FOOD STRUCTURE

Technical Field

The invention relates to a new pet food structure.

In particular, the invention relates to a new pet food structure, which preserves the vitamin and mineral values of the foods that meet the daily nutritional needs of pets at a high level, and which contains a coating in a way that will enable pets to eat products that are very attractive to pets in a way that is more delicious in their natural taste and smell.

Background of the Invention

The food of pets such as dogs and cats varies according to the age, breed, health status and even taste of the pets. However, almost all of the foods contain meat, meat meal, grains such as corn and wheat, minerals, vegetable by-products and sugar. In addition to beef, foods containing chicken, chicken fat and liver are also produced.

These products in the food are of great importance for the health of your pets, since some substances in the food can cause allergies and problems in the digestive system in our dear friend, the content of the food must be known.

Foods contain calcium, phosphorus, sodium, iodine, zinc, iron and many more minerals. Vitamins A, D, E, C and K are frequently used in foods that are also rich in vitamins. Brewer's yeast used in foods is also a very useful substance for your dear friend.

It has many benefits such as helping the functioning of the immune system, ensuring rapid closure of wounds and reducing stress. However, it can cause allergies in some little friends. Therefore, it is a raw material that should be used carefully. Selenium mineral is also a type of mineral that is frequently used in formulas but is not well known. Excessive use of this mineral, which is beneficial for both humans and dogs, is also harmful. Therefore, the maximum selenium value in food is limited to 2 mg/kg, and the selenium value should be paid attention to when buying food.

Since the mentioned foods are made with the normal drying method at a high degree and with high airflow and this reduces the nutritional values in this product, additional vitamins, minerals, protein, etc. is used.

The foods that dogs and cats eat with the most pleasure are the foods called Freeze Dry / Vacuum Dry (freeze dried). These foods, which have very high nutritional values, are often given as reward food by pet owners because their costs are high.

The mentioned Freeze Dry / Vacuum Dry foods are foods that preserve their nutritional values compared to traditional drying methods. In the foods produced by this method, the water in the raw material is dried by evaporating at very low pressure and temperature. The final product form and its nutritional values are preserved. At the same time, it allows pets to take their favorite crispy form in the most natural way.

However, as explained above, the Freeze Dry / Vacuum Dry (freeze-dried) foods mentioned are high-cost foods due to both the technology used and the purity of the raw materials used. For this reason, it is not used in the daily feeding of pets. However, it is provided as a reward food to make our friends happy.

In the patent application TR 2020 16357 in the literature, "The invention is a gel-like product developed to be used as a treat for cats and dogs and has a nourishing and immune system strengthening effect thanks to its vitamins, minerals, herbal extracts, amino acids and other bioactive components. It is about its composition and the method of its production.” statements are included.

In the aforementioned application, the composition and production method of prize food in gel form for cats and dogs are included. Again in the literature, in the European Patent application numbered EP3154368B1 regarding the subject, “The present invention concerns a non-fatty palatability enhancer for use in cat food comprising an amino reactant having a ratio AAS / AAT of sulfur- containing free amino acids (AAS) to total free amino acids (AAT) from 1 to 12.8% by weight, and a carbonyl composition comprising more than 20% up to 100% by weight of monosaccharides and/or disaccharides and/or oligosaccharides.” statements are included.

The mentioned patent application includes flavor enhancers containing amino reactants and carbonyl compounds for use in cat foods.

Again in the literature, in the Chinese patent application numbered CN111528358, regarding the subject, “The invention provides a preparation method of a freeze-dried dog food. The freeze-dried dog food is prepared from fresh beef, chicken breast, duck meat, beef liver, cucumber, eggs, calcium lactate, compound vitamins, mineral substances, apples and vegetable powder. The preparation method comprises the following steps: respectively putting the fresh beef, the chicken breast and the duck meat intoa meat grinder, grinding into meat paste, and then treating; removing kernels of the apples, cutting into small pieces, putting into a grinder, grinding, and then standing aside for later use; cleaning and peeling the cucumber, cutting into small pieces, and putting into the grinder for grinding; and sequentially putting the beef paste, the chicken paste and the duck meat paste into a high-speed stirrer, then sequentially adding the eggs, the ground apples, the ground cucumber, the calcium lactate, the compound vitamins, the mineral substances and the vegetable powder, uniformly stirring, thenputting into a mold, shaping, then putting into a vacuum freeze-drying device, carrying out freeze-drying treatment, and then packaging to obtain the finished product freeze-dried dog food. The dog food provided by the invention is rich in food variety and balanced in nutrition, retains the color and taste of food, and stimulates the appetite of pet dogs.” statements are included.

In the mentioned patent application, there is a dog food structuring produced by the Freeze Dry / Vacuum Dry method. For the reasons mentioned above, the need to introduce a new pet food structure has arisen.
