Abstract:
The present invention provides a nickel paste in which an ultrafine nickel powder is dispersed in a state whereby little aggregation occurs; and a production method by which this nickel paste can be produced using a simple process. This nickel paste contains at least a nickel powder, a dispersion/migration accelerator and a vehicle, the quantity of acid in a binder resin that is a raw material of the vehicle is 20-300 μmol/g, the content of the dispersion/migration accelerator is 0.16-3.0 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the nickel powder, the nickel concentration is 50-70 mass%, and the viscosity of the paste is 8-150 Pa·s. This nickel paste can be produced using a method that includes a step of adding the dispersion/migration accelerator to the vehicle and mixing so as to obtain a vehicle that contains the dispersion/migration accelerator, and a step of adding an aqueous slurry of a nickel powder to the obtained vehicle, kneading the same, and removing separated water.
