An image encoding/decoding method and device are provided. The image decoding method according to the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: obtaining the prediction information of the current block; determining a prediction mode of the current block on the basis of the prediction information; selecting a transform kernel for generating a residual block of the current block, on the basis of which the prediction mode is a predetermined mode; and generating the residual block of the current block by performing non-separable primary transform for the current block by means of the selected transform kernel.
