Abstract:
A nonlinear calculation method for a fixed-point number, a nonlinear calculation acceleration apparatus, an image processing device applying same, and a movable platform. The method comprises: obtaining an input independent variable (S101); determining a standard base point from preset function input interval base points according to the input independent variable (S102); obtaining a function value and a line segment cut rate corresponding to the standard base point (S103); and performing linear calculation according to the input independent variable, the standard base point, and the function value and the line segment cut rate corresponding to the standard base point, and determining a nonlinear calculation result for the input independent variable (S104). According to the apparatus and the method, both precision and operation efficiency of nonlinear calculation can be improved. Therefore, when the solution is used for design of a processor, performance of the processor can be greatly improved.
