Abstract:
A notification device for a mobile unit according to an embodiment comprises, for example: a storage unit which stores first sound data; a sound output control unit which outputs a notification sound based on the first sound data from a sound output unit provided on the mobile unit; a generation unit which generates second sound data by performing predetermined processing on the first sound data at a portion corresponding to where the sound comes on, said processing being different from processing designed for a portion corresponding to where the sound falls, the cycle of the second sound being set so as to coincide with the cycle of the notification sound; and a light source drive control unit which causes the light source unit provided on the mobile unit to emit light in conformity to the intensity of the sound represented by the second sound data.
