Abstract:
The invention relates to a novel motor vehicle wheel which is made, for example, from light alloy, and to the production method thereof. The inventive wheel is characterised in that it consists of: an integral main part which forms a front face (FA) and a substantial part of a rim (CJ) and which comprises first fittings (CI, API, HI) for a first tyre support opposite the front face; and an annular part (S) which is fixed to the aforementioned main part and which comprises at least one part (HE, APE) with second fittings for a second tyre support on the side of the front face. In this way, the main part can be made thinner and lighter (AM) in the section comprising the above-mentioned second fittings. The invention applies to light alloy wheels for motor vehicles.
