Title:
NOVEL TISSUE-SPECIFIC SECRETORY POLYPEPTIDE AND DNA THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO2002024908
Kind Code:
A9
Abstract:
A novel tissue-specific secretory polypeptide and its DNA. The above polypeptide and the DNA encoding the same are usable in, for example, diagnosing, treating and preventing cancer, immune diseases, infections, digestive diseases, circulatory diseases and endocrine diseases. This polypeptide is also useful as a reagent for screening a compound or its salt promoting or inhibiting the activity of the polypeptide. An antibody against the above polypeptide, which can specifically recognizing the polypeptide, can be used in, for example, detecting, quantifying or neutralizing the polypeptide in a liquid sample.
