Abstract:
Provided is a nozzle cap (1) which is formed from a rubber composition including a rubber portion in which a diene rubber and a non-diene rubber are combined such that the proportion of diene rubber is 20-70 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the total diene rubber and non-diene rubber mass. This nozzle cap (1) has an appropriate degree of gas permeability so as to facilitate rapid sterilization by EOG or steam sterilization and allow removal of residue by deaeration and drying after steam sterilization to be quickly carried out in a short amount of time; furthermore, the nozzle cap (1) is not liable to come loose and fall off from a nozzle due to slackening from an increase in internal pressure or permanent compression distortion and will produce only a small amount of extracted material at any stage in the sterilization process.
