Abstract:
A numerical control device (100) is provided with: a velocity map creation unit (102) that, on the basis of machining information (103) obtained by cutting a workpiece by controlling a machine tool, identifies a cutting section, which is a section of a cutting path where cutting is performed, and a non-cutting section, which is a section of the cutting path where cutting is not performed, when cutting the workpiece, and creates a velocity map including information relating to the feed rate in the non-cutting section and the feed rate in the cutting section; a velocity map database (105) that retains the velocity map; and a command output unit (107) that generates a command for the machine tool on the basis of the velocity map.
