Abstract:
This observation point position evaluation method is a method for evaluating observation point positions in a simulation space (10), and includes: a first step for simulating the space (10) using a state quantity of the space (10) at a first time and the boundary condition of the space (10), and outputting a state quantity of the space (10) at a second time later than the first time; and a second step performed after the first step. The second step includes: a difference derivation step for deriving a boundary condition difference, which is the difference between a predetermined true value for the boundary condition and the boundary condition assimilation result obtained when data assimilation is performed only for the boundary condition of the space (10) using the state quantity of the space (10) at the second time and pseudo-observation data at an observation point position in the space (10); and an evaluation presentation step for presenting the result of evaluating the observation point position in the space (10) on the basis of the boundary condition difference.
