Abstract:
An occupant monitoring device (20) comprises: a vehicle-interior imaging unit (21) that images a range in which there exists at least the face of an occupant in the interior of a vehicle (100); and an illumination unit (22) that projects light into the range in which there exists at least the face of the occupant in the vehicle interior. The vehicle-interior imaging unit (21) and the illumination unit (22) are attached to a display unit (12) provided to an A pillar (104) disposed in the vehicle interior.
