Title:
OIL SLUDGE WEIGHT REDUCING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2009/028519
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An oil sludge weight reducing apparatus characterized by including a screw composed of a screw axle with a steam supply hole and a screw vane helically provided around the outer circumference of at least a portion of the screw axle; an inner tube with oil water passage hole provided so as to surround the screw; an outer tube disposed outside the inner tube so as to provide an oil water discharge interstice between the same and the inner tube; an oil sludge supply port for supply of oil sludge in the inner tube; an outer-tube-side steam supply port for supply of steam in the outer tube; a stopper disposed in the vicinity of the edge of the inner tube on a residue discharge side so as to provide a residue discharge interstice between the same and the edge of the inner tube on a residue discharge side; an oil water discharge port for discharge, outside the apparatus, of the oil water having been discharged in the oil water discharge interstice; and driving means for rotary drive of the screw, wherein the ratio of the length from the edge of the inner tube on an oil sludge supply side to the outer-tube-side steam supply port to the length of the inner tube is 0.5 or below. The oil sludge weight reducing apparatus would attain reduction of the amount of oil and hazardous substances contained in oil sludge to the level allowing landfill disposal by a one-step operation.
