Abstract:
The present invention relates to a one-side fixing type transmission. In particular, a transmission using a planetary gear is improved so as to be able to be fixed at one side of a vehicle frame. The one-side fixing type transmission comprises: a shaft (100) having a fixed end (110), of which one side is fixed to a vehicle frame (10), and a free end (120) at the other side; a transmission section(200) including a carrier (210) rotating around the outer periphery of the free end (120) of the shaft (100), a planetary gear(220) rotationally supported by the carrier (210), a ring gear(230) teeth-engaged with the outer periphery of the planetary gear(220), a sun gear(240) teeth-engaged with the inner periphery of the planetary gear(220), and a clutch means(250) alternatively transmitting the rotation of the carrier (210) to the ring gear (230); an input section(300) for rotating the carrier (210) by receiving a driving force from the outside; a transmission control section(400) for alternatively restraining the rotation of the sun gear (240); an output section(500) for outputting a speed-changed driven force via a hub shell (510) from the ring gear (230); and a coupling means (600) fixedly coupled at the end of the free end (120) for restraining the outward separation of the transmission section(200), the input section(300), the transmission control section(400), and the output section(500) in the axial direction. The above transmission may be employed in a foldable bicycle, particularly in a one-side wheel type foldable bicycle so as to be reduce the volume basically occupied by a general foldable bicycle at the time of transporting or keeping thereof. Simultaneously, transmission may be carried out in multiple steps according to the running conditions when riding the bicycle, thereby maximizing the marketability of the bicycle as well as the transmission and the convenience on behalf of users.
