Abstract:
An online thermal bonding process for flocking tape of an automobile EPDM glass guide groove sealing strip: a produced EPDM sealing strip is vulcanized or cured and then a flocking tape is thermally bonded, and the temperature of the EPDM sealing strip after vulcanization or curing is used to hot-melt and bond the flocking tape, which not only uses waste heat that is advantageous to environmental protection and energy saving, but also implements online bonding during the production process of an EPDM sealing strip, reduces the cumbersome processes of subsequent flocking, saves on process procedures, and reduces the costs. At the same time, when the EPDM sealing strip produced by the thermal bonding process is compared to an EPDM sealing strip produced by traditional electrostatic flocking, the EPDM sealing strip produced by the thermal bonding process has a better flocking effect and more uniform fluff coverage, thus reducing the possibility of increased friction with glass during use due to uneven flocking, and reducing the noise of automobile glass during a lifting process.
