Abstract:
This optical coherence tomography device (100) comprises a wavelength-scanning laser light source (101), a splitting/merging instrument (103) by which light emitted by the wavelength-scanning laser light source (101) is split into object light and reference light, an optical spectrum data generation unit (108) that generates information related to the wavelength dependency of the difference in intensity between a plurality of interference light beams generated when object light and reference light scattered from a measurement object (200) interfere with each other, and a control unit (109) that acquires depth-direction structure data pertaining to the measurement object (200) on the basis of the information related to the wavelength dependency and connects a plurality of the depth-direction structure data acquired at different positions along the scanning direction of the measurement object (200). The wavelength-scanning laser light source (101) is caused to emit light that has been swept in a wavelength-sweeping range that is narrower than a wavelength sweeping range in an actual measurement to perform a preliminary measurement, and performs an actual measurement when it has been assessed, on the basis of the results of the preliminary measurement, that the measurement object (200) is at a position suitable for the actual measurement.
