Abstract:
An instantaneous jitter information detection unit (11) detects, based on a first and a second digital value among a digital signal (DDD) which indicate different polarities with respect to a reference value, an instantaneous inclination value (D101) corresponding to the difference value between the first and second digital values, and an instantaneous deviation value (D102) corresponding to the difference value between an intermediate value of the first and second digital values and a reference value. An information conversion unit (12) converts, based on an inverse proportion conversion table, the instantaneous inclination value (D101) to an inversely proportional value (D12). A computation processing unit (13) multiplies the instantaneous deviation value (D102) by the inversely proportional value (D12) and squares the result to detect an instantaneous variance value (D104), then sums up instantaneous variance values (D104) to detect an integrated value (D105). A standard deviation detection unit (14) detects the square root of the mean value of the integrated value (D105) as an absolute jitter value (DZ).
