Abstract:
Disclosed is an orientation measuring device, comprising a measuring head, further comprising a plurality of dielectric resonators (No. 1 - No. n) that are positioned equidistant from one another on the circumference of a circle in the plane; a degree of shift computation unit (36); a misalignment correction value computation unit (38); a shift correction coefficient computation unit (40); a post-shift correction degree of shift computation unit (41); an anisotropy sensitivity correction coefficient computation unit (42); a correction coefficient memory unit (43); a shift correction unit (44); and an orientation computation unit (46). A shift correction coefficient (K1) is derived by the shift correction coefficient computation unit (40) on each dielectric resonator, and an anisotropy sensitivity correction coefficient (K2) is computed by the anisotropy sensitivity correction coefficient computation unit (42) on each dielectric resonator for the dielectric anisotropy of a correction specimen. When the orientation of an actual specimen is measured, the degree of shift is corrected by multiplying the degree of shift on each dielectric resonator by the shift correction coefficient (K1) and the anisotropy sensitivity correction coefficient (K2), and the orientation of the actual specimen is computed based on the corrected degree of shift.
