Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for filling and sealing a plurality of bottles for pharmaceutical use, the method comprising the following steps: a) positioning, in a filling station, a first plate defining retaining recesses that receive the bottles, b) filling the bottles with a pharmaceutical product, in the filling station, c) picking up caps which are housed in storage recesses formed on an upper face of a second plate, each cap being extracted from the second plate and positioned on a bottle after it has been filled, d) when the storage recesses are empty of any caps, positioning the lower face of the second plate over the caps, themselves placed on the bottles, each cap being received in a position-maintaining recess formed on the side corresponding to the lower face, and e) applying a pressing force to the upper face of the second plate in order to collectively lock the caps on the bottles. The invention also relates to a collective packaging installation compatible with the above-mentioned method and comprising a first plate for holding the bottles for pharmaceutical use and a second plate for holding the caps.
