Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) duplication in sidelink transmission. In an aspect, a first UE comprising a processor and a transceiver coupled to the processor. The processor is configured to transmit, via the transceiver and to a second UE, configuration information for PDCP duplication for sidelink transmission from the first UE to the second UE. The processor is configured to determine activation and deactivation of the PDCP duplication according to the second UE's capability or an indication from the second UE.
