Abstract:
Provided is a parts mounting apparatus and a model-type switching method for the parts mounting apparatus, wherein the parts mounting apparatus is equipped with a plurality of mounting lanes, and model-type switching work necessary accompanying a change in the circuit board type can be executed without stopping the operation of a mounting lane on one side, without endangering the safety of workers, and with a simple operation. In a switching-work executing process, wherein work pertaining to model-type switching is to be executed by operating switching-work operation switches such as a File Operation (35e) switch, which are displayed when a Model-type Switching (33c) switch displayed on an operation screen (30) of an operation panel is selected and pressed, and when a mounting lane not subjected to the switching operation is executing parts-mounting work operation, an operation input with the switching-work operation switches is allowed, but an operation input with a lane specifying switch (36), which is for specifying the mounting lane to be subjected to a switching-operation input, is prohibited, so that a second mounting lane (L2) that is currently in production will not be subjected to a switching-operation input.
