Abstract:
Disclosed is a passive secondary side waste heat removal system for a nuclear power plant, the waste heat removal system comprising a cooling water pool (10) and a heat exchanger (20) arranged inside the cooling water pool (10), wherein an inlet of the heat exchanger (20) is connected to the steam side of a steam generator, and an outlet of the heat exchanger is connected to the water supply side of the steam generator; and further comprising a partition member (30) arranged inside the cooling water pool (10), wherein the partition member (30) divides an accommodating space of the cooling water pool (10) into a high-temperature area (101) and a low-temperature area (102), with the heat exchanger (20) being located within the high-temperature area (101), and several drain holes (31) for communicating the high-temperature area (101) with the low-temperature area (102) being provided in the partition member (30). By arranging the partition member (30), the waste heat removal system divides the cooling water pool (10) into the high-temperature area (101) and the low-temperature area (102), with the heat exchanger (20) being arranged within the high-temperature area (101), such that there is a temperature difference between the high-temperature area (101) and the low-temperature area (102), and thus inside the cooling water pool (10), only the high-temperature area (101) needs to be provided with a steel linear and the low-temperature area (102) does not, so that provision of a steel linear with a large area can be avoided, thereby shortening the construction period, reducing costs, and improving the economical efficiency.
