Even if a player has rich experience in the pattern matching game, the player can have a high amusement when a part of a combination of the patterns relating to “yaku” (a combination of patterns giving a value to the player) is aligned on the prizewinning line, worrying about whether the “yaku” will be established. A pattern matching game includes three reels variably displaying a plurality of patterns and performs drawing to determine a winning which selects reach prize (ready to win) corresponding to the combination of patterns in which only a part of the patterns (pattern of the middle reel) is different from the “yaku” (combination of three white-seven patterns) corresponding to a predetermined prize group (for example, white-seven prize), or a blank in which the reach prize is not selected. When the drawing is won, among the combinations of the patterns corresponding to the reach prize, stop control is performed so that the part of the patterns coinciding with the “yaku” (the patterns of the left reel portion and the right reel portion) are stopped and displayed on the prizewinning line. After that, another drawing is performed to determine whether the “yaku” is aligned on the prizewinning line. According to this another drawing result, the middle reel is controlled to stop.
