Abstract:
A rotor 3 of a permanent-magnet-embedded motor is provided with an annular rotor core 10 in which a plurality of magnet insertion holes 13 are formed in the circumferential direction, and permanent magnets 11 inserted into the magnet insertion holes 13. The rotor core 10 is formed by alternatingly stacking, in the axial direction of the rotor core 10, core blocks 10a that do not have slits 15a, 15b between the magnet insertion holes 13 and the outer circumferential surface of the rotor core 10 and core blocks 10b that have slits 15a, 15b between the magnet insertion holes 13 and the outer circumferential surface of the rotor core 10. The slits 15a and ends 11a of the permanent magnets 11 are arranged in the radial direction and the slits 15b and ends 11b of the permanent magnets 11 are arranged in the radial direction.
