Abstract:
The present invention provides a lipolytic composition comprising a deoxycholic acid or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, e.g. a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating obesity comprising localized obesity. A pharmaceutical composition of the present invention does not give rise to precipitation even though having lower pH than the existing DCA-containing preparation and thus has excellent storage stability, and also enables minimization of side effects such as burning sensation and inflammation on the site of administration.
