Abstract:

A pharmaceutical composition for preventing diabetes comprises: cannabidiol and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or ester thereof; and one or more hypoglycemic agents. Optionally, the pharmaceutical composition further comprises one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The pharmaceutical composition can effectively decrease blood sugar, and significantly mitigate an adverse reaction induced by metformin or sulfonylurea secretagogues.
