Abstract:
A 2D-TMD nanosheet functionalized with an amphiphilic block copolymer compound of the present invention has excellent cellular and mitochondrial ROS scavenging activities and shows excellent persistency of such activity at a low pH, and further, inhibits an excessive increase in secretion of inflammatory cytokines following bacterial infections, exhibits antibacterial activity, and increases survival rates and prevents the progression of disease symptoms in animal models of sepsis, and thus can be provided as an anti-inflammatory/antioxidant agent for the prevention and treatment of sepsis and septic shock.
