Abstract:
Provided is a photosensor comprising: a light-receiving unit which generates charges according to incident light; a charge transfer gate for transferring the charges generated in the light-receiving unit; and a signal generation unit for generating a charge transfer signal to be applied to the charge transfer gate, wherein the signal generation unit generates the charge transfer signal so that the charge transfer gate is made to assume a charge transfer state in a first time range of a first period belonging to an n-th frame (where n is an integer equal to or greater than 1) and the charge transfer gate is made to assume the charge transfer state in a second time range of a second period belonging to an m-th frame (where m is an integer different from n and equal to or greater than 1), and, when the start time of the first period is matched with the start time of the second period, a portion of the first time range overlaps a portion of the second time range.
